My name is Ivan Dorić, I was born in Zagreb, Croatia, but lived there for a very short time, most of my life was spent in a little town called Našice. After I've finished high school I've moved around Croatia every few years (Varaždin, Osijek, Vukovar) and now I live in my birth place again, Zagreb. I must say I like it here very much and I plan to spend at least another few years here.
I'm a freelance (web) designer. My primary work is mostly web design and web technologies, but I also do brand design (logotypes) , print design (business cards, brochures, flyers etc.) and simple motion design, simple for now, until I buy a better machine :) .
I'm particularly fascinated with using clean xhtml and css code for my web design projects. Writing that kind of code is like poetry for me. I also like simple designs (less is more type of stuff). One of the reasons I got into this kind of work is because I really enjoy doing it, and I like to watch my designs and my code get better every time I do new project.
Also I like to help people develop their web design skills, so I've started a blog that features video and text tutorials for learning best web design techniques and other design skills.
